My passion for Boudoir Photography blossomed from my personal journey of self-discovery.
Life has taught me the importance of embracing self-confidence and body acceptance, inspiring me to capture moments that celebrate these virtues.
In my decade-long journey, I've met countless women, each with a story worth cherishing. Society often burdens us with expectations, but there's a point where self-care becomes essential.
This journey is more than a physical transformation; it's about starting within.

The discovery call gives us the opportunity to get to know each other better, and uncover what it is about you that you deserve to celebrate.
STEP 3: EXPERIENCE
This is one to tick off your bucket list! Get ready to be pampered by our amazing make-up artist.
Then it’s time for your transformational photoshoot. I’ll be there to guide you through all your poses. Finally, the big reveal! Your opportunity to choose your favourite photographs and design your timeless artwork.

After your experience is over, your life will be undoubtedly changed.

Meet Dian, a breast cancer survivor. Dian’s body has gone through many changes over the years, and she has struggled with her self esteem as a result.
However, she decided to take control of her body and her self-image by having a Boudoir Experience. For Dian, her Boudoir Experience was more than just a way to take some pretty pictures.
It was a way for her to reclaim her body and her self-confidence after a cancer diagnosis. Dian says that the experience has helped her feel powerful and sexy, and she recommends it to every woman! But the real transformation came after the photoshoot was over.
Dian felt a newfound sense of confidence and empowerment. She started to see her body in a different way and began to appreciate her strength.
Her artwork now has pride of place in her front room, so she can be reminded of who she is every single day.
DIAN
When Dawn’s husband passed away after 29 years of marriage she wanted to do something outside her comfort zone.
As someone more comfortable in muddy walking boost and waterproofs, Dawn never considered herself a ‘girly girl’. But after hearing about the transformative experience of Boudoir photography, she knew it was the perfect way to push herself and really celebrate herself.
Her experience really allowed her to reconnect with herself, and gave her a new lease of life to keep her going
For Dawn, her Boudoir Experience opened her eyes to her own strength and confidence that had taken a back seat.
DAWN
After facing struggle after struggle throughout her life, and overcoming a massive 8 stone weight loss, Wendy decided it was time to celebrate herself.
Approaching her 55th birthday, Wendy sought to celebrate her milestone and newfound confidence with a Boudoir Experience.
Wendy fully embraced her Boudoir Experience, and it really reshaped her perception. Her photographs became a symbol of her transformation, and conquering her past.
The experience instilled in her a deep sense of self-acceptance and empowerment. Wendy's journey through her experience lasted far beyond the studio, becoming a testament to her remarkable resilience and the beauty of embracing one's true self.

I know what you're thinking- "These women are gorgeous. They're probably models who walk down the runaway every other weekend. They aren't just your average everyday-women that you see at your local supermarket.”
Well, you're actually half right/half wrong. These women ARE completely gorgeous of course! But these are 100% everyday-women. These are wives, mothers, grandmothers but they are so much more than that.
Yes they are everyday women – but they are also superheroes in their own right. They decided to invest in themselves and take some time out to celebrate their strengths!

Enjoy a luxurious day of day of relaxation and fun in our beautiful Yorkshire studio. The studio is situated in the heart of Barnsley town centre, opposite the Town Hall and with great access to parking.
Some of our ladies travel to us from across the country, so if you want to use this experience as an excuse for a mini-break we are more than happy to help you plan your trip.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO GET THIS EXPERIENCE STARTED!
Who takes my photographs?
Ruth and Stan are a father and daughter in law duo who are with you throughout your whole experience. Stan is the mastermind behind the camera and the lighting, while Ruth is there to help with posing and styling. We'll work as a team to make sure you're feeling comfortable and relaxed the whole time.
How long will my experience last?
You'll be with us at the studio for around 3-4 hours in total. This means there's plenty of time to discover more about what makes you tick. It also gives you time to get comfortable with us and really let the real you shine!
Do I need to bring my own outfits?
Yes - you bring along your own underwear with you for your experience. This gives you the opportunity to bring along clothing that really feels like YOU! Whether you feel most confident in a bra and pants set, or your partner's white shirt; we want you to bring along the things that you love yourself in. Don't be afraid to bring along a suitcase full if you aren't sure what will work, that's what we're here for. That being said, we do have a few accessories at the studio. Like negligees, stockings and a full range of high heels!
How much can I bare?
As much as you dare! Reveal as much or as little as you are comfortable with there - will be no pressure from us, you set the boundaries of your shoot. However as your confidence grows in front of the camera do not be afraid to suggest poses.
How do I book in?
Our Boudoir Experiences are available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10am, and 2pm. If you fill out the form at the top of this page we'll be in touch to get your experience organised. How exciting!
